    Hello dear experts

    I have a question about using Protulex. The first two times there were no problems apart from a brief "burning" sensation. Since then, it bleeds whenever I pull out the needle, not just a mini drop. Do you have any tips for me? I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Slowly let the fluid run in, leave the needle in for 10 seconds, pull it out and let go of the fold....I take heparin and ASA but it didn't bleed before either.

    Is too much of the medication lost through the blood?

    I take 400 progesterone suppositories at 6am and 6pm and Protulex at 7:30pm. Is that ok in terms of timing?

    It is indeed important to ensure correct administration, which seems to be fine in your case. However, always remember to inject below the navel and inject about 3-4 cm from the midline as there are more blood vessels in this area.

    If she loses too much of the dose due to this bleeding, it will be seen at the checks, but I doubt it, she has vaginal progesterone as well.

    As for the timing, I don't think it's bad, but you should check with the doctor treating you if you have any doubts. But in principle it's fine.
