Hello lilalaunchen and welcome.
What is your experience with Estrofem? It is estradiol, there are a few other preparations with the same active ingredient.
It is usually used in Kiwu treatments to build up the uterine lining or at least to support it, in different variants depending on requirements.
I had it more often in artificial cryocycles and always tolerated it well, it did what it was supposed to do.
Hello Luthien,
Thank you for your information!
I recently read through the package leaflets for the medication and also saw that some of them are actually for women in the menopause and the rather blatant side effects and dangers for various illnesses put me off a little and made me feel insecure.
But of course hormones have to be used.
I was just wondering whether there are easier preparations than Estrofem.
Kind regards
I've been taking Estrifam for over 15 years and I'm doing really well with it.
You only take it for a manageable period of time... and if you look at the side effects of aspirin or something like that, it doesn't look good either

Sorry, after 9 years on the pill and 21 treatments of my own, including 6 fully stimulated IVF, I have to smile a little about that😅
Estradiol is the least harmful of these.
I've always tolerated everything well.
The "worst" side effect I had during treatments was some constipation from progesterone.
You would take it for a manageable period of time. You might have a few unpleasant side effects such as headaches, but no long-term effects to worry about.
Sorry for asking so naively. Maybe it's because I have a pre-existing condition, but many people still get pregnant with it. I've also never taken the pill or had any other hormone treatments.
