Which treatment documents should I request when changing clinics?

Hello everyone,

We want to change clinics after one successful and four unsuccessful transfers. Of course, I would like to provide the new clinic with as much information as possible about our previous treatment. What documents can and should I request from the old clinic? So far we have not received any documents at all, except for two spermiograms once on request. Are there protocols for the fertilization and development of the embryos that can be requested? What else is important?

Experience has shown that you have to "pull all the information out of your nose" from our clinic, so I would like to be able to provide as complete a list as possible of everything I would like to have. If I just write "please send me all the documents", I probably won't get much out of it...

We have now decided (provisionally, if the preliminary talks go well) to go to the Next Fertility Clinic in Bregenz, Austria. The decisive factors for us were that there is open donation, that the distance is not too great (preferably without flying), that the waiting time for a donor is as short and predictable as possible (this is the case here, as there is a cooperation with the Ovumia Egg Bank in Finland) and that it is an experienced clinic that also deals with more complicated cases with several failed attempts on an individual basis. Whether the latter is the case remains to be seen in the preliminary discussions. But at least the contacts so far have been very friendly, and the fact that we can now speak in German is also quite pleasant.
