Hello everyone,
We have been waiting for a new donor at the Aagaard Clinic in Denmark for 14 months now. Our daughter from the first successful ECS will be four years old in May and we have already had two unsuccessful transfers for a sibling in 2023 and have been waiting for a new donor ever since. Now the donor promised to us has also backed out at short notice and my patience is at an end. That's why we want to look for a new clinic with a shorter waiting time, but it should still be a non-anonymous donation for the sake of the child.
Does anyone know of any clinics with really short waiting times (< 3 months) for non-anonymous egg donation?
I came across the Ovumia clinic in Finland, they have a cryo egg bank where there might be shorter waiting times. Does anyone have experience with the clinic?
Does anyone have experience with success rates with frozen eggs? I have found and skimmed a few studies that say that the chances of success with frozen eggs are almost identical to fresh eggs, provided the clinic has enough experience with freezing and thawing the more delicate eggs compared to embryos.
Does anyone have experience of transferring frozen sperm from one clinic to another? Because of problems with sperm quality, it would be important for us to be able to take our "good" sperm from the current clinic to the new one.
Kind regards,
your impatient Nini
