Hello lovelies, I urgently need your advice as I am completely devastated after the gynecologist appointment.
The facts:
- Cycle: Last period 26.03. / ES according to Ovu ZT 13/14 (but was sick from ZT 15-19 with gastrointestinal).
- Tests: Positive since 22.04. (DD 28), the 10 tests got stronger every day!
This could also indicate a later implantation if the test on ZT was only slightly positive.
- Status: Today ZT 34 (7 days overdue). Temperature still high (37.1 - 37.3).
- Blood result (from 27.04.): HCG is 80 mIU/ml. (A 50 urine test at the doctor's office was negative at noon).
The problem:
My doctor said today that I was "not really pregnant", the value was far too low (she would have expected 350-500). She said flippantly that the egg and sperm had "only greeted each other briefly". She considered late implantation or the temperature curve to be irrelevant. Next blood test is not until Monday.
My questions:
1. how can a value of 80 be "nothing"? HCG is only produced after implantation, right?
2. why does my period stop and the tests get heavier if there is "nothing"?
3. could the infection have postponed ovulation/implantation so that 80 is now on time after all?
I don't feel taken seriously at all. For me, 6 days of positive tests and a week overdue were very real.
