Dear members,
the KinderwunschForum supports science! Today we would like to draw your attention to an important research project at the Hamburger Fern-Hochschule - on the topic of:
👉 Stigma and stress in the unfulfilled desire to have children in a digital context
Many affected women experience the desire to have children as emotionally stressful - and content on social media in particular can influence these feelings.
📊 The aim of the study is to better understand these relationships in order to provide more targeted support for you in the long term.
Key data on participation:
- Target group: Women with an unfulfilled desire to have children (currently or previously), aged 18 and over
- Duration: approx. 8-10 minutes.
- Safety: 100% anonymous & voluntary

Every participation helps to give affected women a stronger voice in research 💛
Feel free to share!
Thank you for your support! 💛
Dear community,
My name is Ines Schiewe and I am the initiator of this study as part of my psychology degree and Master's thesis at the HFH (Hamburger Fern-Hochschule). The topic is very close to my heart as I want to better understand how we navigate the digital world as we go through this emotionally challenging time.
From my own experience, I know how sensitive this topic is - so it is all the more important to me that future offers for affected women are designed in a practical and needs-oriented way. Your participation will directly help us to achieve this goal. If you have any questions about the study, please feel free to contact me at any time:
i.schiewe@campus.hamburger-fh.de.
Special extra: Once the study has been completed, I will be happy to share the most important (anonymized) results with you here in the forum. So not only are you contributing to the research, but you will also get feedback on it later!
I look forward to every participation and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your time and trust!
