Hello everyone,
We have a very long and rather unsuccessful KiWu journey behind us. In 2023, we decided to have an egg donation in Denmark, which resulted in our son. After the birth by emergency caesarean section, we didn't have to think about the possibility of a second child for a year. When the time came, we had another embryo implanted from the donation. The first one didn't implant, the second one unfortunately led to an FG in the 11th week of pregnancy. With the second attempt, I unfortunately also reached the maximum age limit permitted in Denmark.
As I didn't have the heart to simply destroy the remaining three embryos, we decided to have them transferred. However, it is not possible to go to Spain or Greece as the distance is simply too far and I don't want to fly with a small child. That's why I decided to go to the Czech Republic, which is also easy to do by train. However, I have now read from the clinic there that they unfortunately do not transfer embryos from Denmark as they do not meet their legal requirements.
Now I'm desperate because I'm running out of time. Denmark is no longer allowed to store them, they only do it as a gesture of goodwill, and the possibility I had has just burst like a soap bubble...
Do any of you have any tips and/or experience as to where else I could ask?
Kind regards!
