Dear Deluxe84, welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, I'm afraid your doctor is right. With this low AMH and your age, it's unlikely that you'll have your own eggs, and you'd just be spending money for nothing, plus the stress of the medication etc.
I was 37 and my AMH was 0.2, I still had a regular cycle and yet the stimulation no longer worked. It was only enough for one negative transfer and after that it was just frustration and a lot of money for nothing. In the end, we ended up with egg donation. And now we have two wonderful children. I had just turned 40 with the first child and now 43 with the second. I remember crying with relief when the blastocysts from egg donation were transferred, because for the first time there was a real chance of pregnancy.
Perhaps egg donation is an option for you, although it is prohibited in Germany. Alternatively, there is embryo donation, which is also possible in Germany. All the best for you.

My cycle has been very irregular for about a year and I have had severe hot flushes for two months. Blood values: AMH 0.01, FSH 60. According to the doctor, stimulation is not possible.

I had an EZS and got pregnant at 50. I took Cycloprogynova for three months before that to have a period before the transfer.
