Thank you in advance for allowing me to formulate my questions.
I am already 42 years old and have two healthy children (13, 8). I have Hashimoto's and a factor V Leiden mutation. Despite this, I had no problems in either pregnancy.
Now I am pregnant again (regular 26-day cycle with ES around day 11). With a standard calculation of 5+6, you could see a fetal cavity of 5+4 in the US and a ring structure in it. Yesterday, at a calculated 7+3, an embryo with a heartbeat was seen, although it was 6+4 in size, i.e. about 6 days too small.
The doctor only gave a very brief ultrasound and then said there was a 50/50 chance of an intact pregnancy. I should take progrsterone and magnesium.
What do you think about the situation?
Many thanks and best wishes
