    Hello everyone,

    Unfortunately I know that I have problems with my digestion from time to time depending on my cycle. Since the egg retrieval on Friday, I haven't been able to go yet and I notice that the pain is more severe than at the beginning. Now I'm not sure whether I should talk to the clinic about it or someone else. Theoretically, the transfer is supposed to be on Wednesday, so I should probably clarify this beforehand. Maybe someone has some advice on who I should contact.

    Hello Susi04, be sure to contact the clinic, because it could also be hyperstimulation. You definitely need to clarify this because you may then not be able to do the transfer. If this is the case, HCG would make it worse. Otherwise, drink plenty of fluids and eat lots of protein, including shakes, for example. All the best.

Secondly, because you can postpone the transfer if you do not feel well: It is very important not to "waste" an embryo with a transfer that will not result in pregnancy. For example, if you need medication to relieve your digestive system, which is currently the priority problem, this could have an impact on your uterine lining.

    Never think that you are giving your clinic too much information. She needs to know your entire medical history, even if you are not sure if it is relevant. Your doctor will clear up any doubts.
