Hello everyone!
I have been trying to conceive for 7 months after a miscarriage. Now I ovulated on 18.8. with Ovitrelle and have been taking progesterone vaginally since 19.8. to maintain my mucous membrane and promote implantation. I know that the HCG from the injection can have a false positive effect on an early pregnancy test. My gynecologist told me that if I test 14 days after the injection and it is positive, then it should be due to my own HCG, as the injection should have broken down by then. Today is day 12 after ovulation (also determined by taking my temperature) and day 13 after the injection and my impatience led me to take my first early test this morning. I can see a very very delicate line on it, which in my opinion can be normal on day 12 after ovulation, but could of course still be remnants of the HCG from the injection.
What is your opinion? I will of course test again tomorrow morning and see if the line gets thicker...
Thank you very much!
