Intralipid and cortisone

    Hello,


    I had my 2nd embryo transfer in Prague on 23.07.25. Before that I had 4 in Spain, all negative except for one biochemical pregnancy.

    The 1st attempt in Prague was negative. The current one is a biochemical pregnancy. My husband and I are at a loss. I have an autoimmune disease and elevated NK cells as well as the high-risk genotype. However, the donor in Prague was suitably selected. Before the last transfer, I took Intralipid, Cyclogest (2), Prolutex (2) and Clexane (1) as medication.

    We are desperate and are also considering trying it just once more, as it is dragging me down more and more. Of course I want to do everything for it and I have the feeling that I have to take something in addition.

    Would it still be helpful to take cortisone? My gut feeling tells me that my immune system is working too hard and the Intralipid is not enough.

    First of all, I am so sorry that you have had such a long journey of infertility. You are already heroes for having gone through so much.

    I am missing some elements of your medical record to adequately answer your question, and this is not something that can be shared in a public online forum. Please feel free to send them to me at contact@vidafertility.com.

    But off the top of my head, I would say that you should also have your receptivity and uterine lining tested: Have you done the "EndomeTrio" test? Do you know your KIR-HLA-C value? If you have an immunological disease, it is important to find a compatible donor. I would also check your thrombophilia etc. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend cortisone or other medication without a clear diagnosis.

    I have the KIR genotype Bx (AB+BB). I also had a biopsy of the uterus and an endoscopy. It turned out that I had inflammation and slightly elevated NK killer cells. I had taken antibiotics for 14 days. The inflammation was gone after the biopsy. We also had immunogenetics carried out. The donor was selected based on this. She is therefore compatible. I also have an autoimmune disease (alopeci totalis) and Ullrich-Turner syndrome. I have not had an ERA performed.


    Do you have any ideas about what else I can take? We are totally at a loss
