I also think what Oskar says is true. In addition, when I asked my clinic why they only ever produce so few (1-2) blastos per donation, they said that they only freeze the best blastos (at least 3BB), whereas other clinics with a higher blasto guarantee would also freeze poorer blastos in order to fulfill the guarantee. So, if your donor only has one egg maturing in her natural cycle, then it will probably be of a higher quality.

I am hopeful that there is a good chance that it will work out and I also think that the clinic would not offer the option if it were not successful. The desire for full siblings is there but there is no guarantee, even with a stimulated donor. I hope for good quality and optimal preparation by the clinic.
I am still a little disappointed, as I would have liked to have had the information in advance as the donor has already donated. Nevertheless, I'm still waiting to hear back from the coordinator. -
I have just received feedback from the coordinator. The natural donation is actually a non-stimulated donation, but in most cases not just one egg cell but several mature, although this can vary greatly. As the donor has already donated in this way, she was able to tell me that the results so far have been very good.

Unfortunately, the donor control did not show the desired result and the cycle was canceled. We now have a new donor and the egg retrieval has already taken place. There are 11 eggs. How was it for you, how many eggs did you have and how many of them developed into blastocysts?
I also received a detailed explanation from my coordinator about the "natural cycle" of the first donor. There was probably a communication problem here. The first donor was also given hormones, but she started a natural cycle (no pill or similar). I am glad that she brought this up again and that I was able to pass on the correct information to you. -

We had 12 eggs, 11 could be fertilized and 9 blastocysts developed from them. We had these examined and the result was 6 "healthy" blastocysts!

The second time we had 8 eggs, 6 fertilized, 1 blasto.

Phew, I find that strange. And somehow crass to get so little clarity. I'm sorry you had to go through that. I know that the rankings are not uniform between the clinics, so I can't assess the bookmarks. But we were advised promptly and clearly so that we could decide what risk we wanted to take.
After two losses and 3 failed attempts, even that wasn't enough for me and I had the last 3 genetically tested.

Today we finally got our result. Out of 11 eggs, only 8 could be fertilized, of which 2 blastos of "excellent" quality have now been frozen. The joy is there and I am really happy that we can finally get started, but I had hoped that the result would be a little better. -
