    Hello everyone,

I had my first transfer with EZP of a 4BA Blasto in March. Unfortunately it didn't work out. Now I'm worried all the time about why it didn't work and I'm also afraid that the second transfer might not work either.

Can anyone give me hope? And has anyone done something different with the second transfer and then it worked?

    Many thanks in advance :)

    Kind regards

    Dear Blume20214,

you feel hugged 🫂. I'm sorry that the first transfer failed. I know how you feel ☹️unser first transfer with a 4AA blasto in February also failed 😭.

What did the doctors say? Should you have further tests? Are they changing anything in the protocol?

Dear Lene1980, oh man I'm so sorry for you too😔. I'm in Spain and the doctor said that it was the first attempt. I wanted to have the KIR genes tested. He doesn't think much of it. I could do without that. The doctor doesn't believe in immunology. You get your cocktail of medication where everything is taken into account. For the next transfer, he only increased the cortisone from 5mg to 10mg. What did your clinic say?

Dear Blume20214, I am now having a uterine endoscopy and the plasma cells tested so that endomitritis can also be ruled out.

After the failed transfer, I had a phone call with the clinic. Unfortunately, my clinic didn't take my grade 3 endo and my adenomyosis into account during the first transfer 🤬 although they know that this is the reason why we naturally won't get pregnant 🤬. Furthermore, the progesterone level was far too low (was also not checked), transfer without ultrasound etc 😡😡😡.

In the meantime, I've already had a call with a doctor in Spain who said that the first transfer in the Czech Republic wasn't ideal 😭.

My clinic in Karlovy Vary has now changed the protocol and prescribed me something for endometriosis. In addition, lots of tablets for/against immunology. I am currently considering taking my 4 ❄️🐻‍❄️zu and changing clinics.

First of all, it is important for me that the "implantation site" is in good condition and that there is nothing preventing implantation.

What's the next step for you? Will you have tests before the next attempt?

    Lg Lene

We are very sorry that you had to have this experience. The way you have just described it, I would definitely change clinics before the next transfer. These are fundamental things that no clinic can afford to ignore.
Could you tell us which clinic it was, we have a suspicion and would be interested to know if we are right.

There are so many possibilities now that you should definitely make a plan as to what you should do and what makes sense.

Thanks for the reply, that was our thought too, unfortunately we were right again. These are negative headlines that we have been reading or being sent again and again for almost a year, too bad for your money.

We had sent you a PN.

    Best regards

Lene1980 oh man, I'm really sorry about how that went for you, but then you know what the problem was. If I were you, I would also take the Blastos and go to another clinic. You no longer have any confidence. I wanted to have the KIR genes tested. I've already had a hysteroscopy and everything is fine.

First of all, I'm sorry that the first transfer failed! I would also change clinics.

We are also at Ferticare in Karlsbad and unfortunately the 4th transfer failed. It turned out that a medication was administered that should not be used in the natural cycle ...

We will also change. I would be grateful for any recommendations!

    Dear Blume20214,

Do you want to stay in your clinic? If I were you, I would also have the KIR genes checked. If you are registered with DKMS, you can have your KIR genes sent to you.

Dear Lene1980 I have registered with the DKMS and they will probably test them too. I've already registered for the next transfer. If it doesn't work out there, I would like to switch with my blastos. I have now found out that my TSH value is 3.16. I always had it at 1.0, but unfortunately I didn't have it checked beforehand. What did you decide? Are you switching?

    Dear@Blume20214,

I'm really sorry that it didn't work out. It's hard every time.

I'm afraid it's a bit like playing the lottery. And there's no guarantee. Some people get it right the first time, others the second. For me, it was only the fourth attempt that went well until the end. That was a 4BB. It didn't work with the "better rated" ones

There was nothing I changed. All the tests in between were unsuccessful.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and wish you new courage!

Sala dear Sala, thank you very much for your kind words :) First of all, congratulations that it worked out for you. Which SS week are you in? And which clinic did you go to? I've also heard that it takes a little longer for some people. We still have 5 blastos, but each transfer costs 2,500 euros. That's a lot of money. Did you have everything checked immunologically beforehand? Best regards

Blume20214 2,500.00 euros for a cryotransfer is a lot of money. Does that include the cost of your medication? Which clinic are you in?

C+C_Schmid only transfer with Embryoglue. I'm in Spain at IVI, apparently the most expensive clinic.

Wow, that's a hell of a lot of money, actually an outrageous amount. No words.

    Are you happy with that?

    Hello everyone,

We are also with Ivi. Tomorrow is the blood test, but as the urine test was already negative, I assume that our 2nd transfer has failed, despite ideal conditions.

I'm beginning to wonder whether the advertising rates are right. The price is also hefty. We were told by both KIWU in Germany and Spain that they were expecting a simple process with us. If I had known that we would need so many tests, I would have calculated differently from the start or chosen a cheaper clinic. Especially as some things didn't run smoothly (information about the donor was only provided on request, incorrect medication plans, etc.). Nothing tragic, but not consistent with a basic price of around 12,000 euros.

My dissatisfaction is increasing, but this is certainly due to the lack of success and the financial pressure. I thought Ivi was good because there was very little emotional baggage, but an optimistic view of the future. At the beginning, it was what I needed.

I am very curious to see what steps the clinic will now suggest and how sensitively the renewed implantation failure will be dealt with...but around 3,000 euros per transfer (incl. medication, flights, ultrasound in Germany, etc.) is definitely a lot.

So my assessment depends heavily on my inner state...

Dear LiniBini I'm very sorry that the second transfer there failed. I'm also very afraid of that. Are you also being treated in Mallorca? My doctor there doesn't believe in immunology. He gives me a cocktail of medication and that's it. I wanted to have the KIR genes tested now and he said I could save myself the money. After the 1st negative transfer, I also discovered that my TSH value was 3. I've been taking L-thyroxine 100 mcg for a long time and it was always 1. Unfortunately, I didn't have it tested beforehand and IVI didn't insist on it either. If you like, we can also talk privately. Kind regards
