    Hello!

    My situation is as follows:
On October 8th I had my first transfer ever and this one with cryo cells, as the fresh transfer could not take place due to a broken foot.
In the following week I had bleeding at the normal time, for me normal to heavy and I would also say with small pieces of tissue in it.
Without hope, I then had a blood test on 22.10. The result the next day was: questionably negative. There was an HCG value of 11.6.
Yesterday on 29.10. I had another blood test.
The result today is: still questionable.
The value has risen to 52.7, but that is apparently too low.
Now I have to wait another week before finally having an ultrasound and then the third blood test.
Yesterday, a nurse said that an ectopic pregnancy could also be present if the value rises. Will it really take that long to be checked? Or is the value too high again and I can still be hopeful?
I really don't know what to think and how I can approach the next week to stay relaxed and not go round in circles nervously...

    Hello Herbstlilie!

First of all - I don't know anything about fallopian tube SS!

    But my question :

What days are the tests from - puncture plus xx ??

And the bleeding was already one week after the transfer ????

    VG

    Hello Purehaven

The puncture took place back in March, 2 eggs were retrieved and frozen in the pronuclear stage, so in my case no days after the puncture apply, only after the transfer.

As mentioned above, this took place on October 8th. I had light spotting 6 days after the transfer and heavier bleeding between days 8-11 after the transfer.

The first blood test was carried out exactly 14 days after the transfer, and the result was questionably negative with an HCG value of 11.6.

The second blood test was carried out 21 days after the transfer with the result still questionable and an HCG value of 52.7.

Pronuclear stage means possibly fertilized, but not cultivated? So not frozen as a blastocyst?

Then 21 days would be comparable to 16 days for us. If my calculation is correct, it is really far too little HCG for that.

What was transferred - a blastocyst?

How much progesterone did you get - I'm asking about the bleeding?

How are you feeling physically - I just know that a fallopian tube SS is not good!!!

Fly, exactly, fertilized frozen and then thawed. If the information is correct, it would have been a blasto after 5 days for me, during the transfer itself there was talk of a 2 nucleus and a 4 nucleus cell. To be honest, I didn't question this any further and therefore have no idea whether my assumption is correct.

    Purehaven,

Progesterone or other medication was not given to me. My doctor said that as the transfer was taking place in a spontaneous cycle, I didn't need anything like that.

I have no idea how I'm feeling physically. In general, I'm fine, with the occasional twinge in my abdomen, but only short and weak. Nausea is also only ever there briefly in phases and disappears after a few minutes. I can't detect any other symptoms

    Hello Autumn Lily,

Unfortunately you'll have to wait a little while, because you can't see anything yet - the ultrasound will probably only show next week whether you have an ELSS or a "normal" SS.

The poor increase in HCG levels indicates a biochemical SS.

But sometimes miracles do happen. Who knows? It's a rollercoaster of emotions for you right now. Give yourself a big hug and all the best!

I would agree with Nini747 with my assessment and I know how you feel in your situation 🤗...

Your doctor is basically right about the progesterone - but I would look into it for the future - it's important!

I also had two very early bleeds in IVF cycles... then the progesterone dose was increased for the next few times...

If no additional progesterone is given, then the progesterone value should be determined on the day of transfer and 8 days later. All values below 10 ng/ml are not conducive to good implantation and progression!

    Best regards
