Hello, I am happy to announce that my little Penelope saw the light of day on March 25, 2024. It was always great and uplifting to read your posts, and I wish you all lots of success and luck and a visit from the stork soon

Oh how beautiful. Congratulations @Nightsun87 and the first time of getting to know each other and cuddling has already begun. It's just great to read when it works out and also very encouraging.
May I ask if you had an abdominal birth or a vaginal birth? And whether you came early or on time? Sometimes information flies past me that you shouldn't wait until the due date if you have an EZS (and I think also if you are a late mother, although I don't know if you are a late mother), but should induce beforehand or have a caesarean section. This completely contradicts my previous views, so I would be happy to hear about your experiences.

Congratulations, Nightsun78! Enjoy being a happy parent!
By the way, I'd rather be careful with the exact dates of birth and names of your children here in the forum. Based on a birthday and a less common first name, you might be able to identify a child in real life if you happen to find out where they live. And who knows whether the child would like that in later life...
Coco_F For your statistics: I had a spontaneous vaginal birth with EZS and was 10 days over the ET. However, I am also only in my mid-thirties.

Congratulations Nightsun78. Have a nice time getting to know each other.

Wow, that makes us very happy
Enjoy your time, it would be great if you still had the time to pop in here occasionally and use your experience to support and encourage couples who want to have children.

Congratulations on the birth and have a wonderful time with your little miracle ♡♡♡
I'm also in my mid-30s, gave birth exactly 14 days before ET (it started on its own, no induction or anything).
I ended up having a C-section after 22 hours, but I could have had a normal vaginal delivery if my heartbeat hadn't gotten worse at the end.

Hello Nini that is not your real name, I only call you that sometimes because you had to wait so long ;:-)
Congratulations fly it was positive almost at the same time for us
Hi Coco, no it was a planned c-section 2.5 weeks before... I had bleeding in December, from then on I had to lie around, which gave me diabetes, and I had to go on a strict diet because I couldn't take the insulin, she had been sitting cross-legged since December without moving or turning, and then she got too big, pressed on the bladder so much that I was in pain and because she was already so big and strong, she was delivered 2.5 weeks earlier at 4 kilos.

Nightsun78 Oh well, that's good if that's not her real name!
Glad everything worked out in the end though, with so many complications! Have a great time!
