    Hello lovelies,

I had my first EZS transfer on October 22nd and with an incredible amount of luck it worked straight away and I am now 7 weeks pregnant.

On the one hand, I'm really happy, but on the other hand, the many previous negative ICSIS and the depressing time of trying to conceive have made it clear in my mind that I can't get pregnant at all.

So I'm increasingly worried/ wondering whether all the SSTs I've had could be positive even though I'm not pregnant? The one-off blood test also showed a completely normal HCG value. Fortunately, an ectopic pregnancy is not possible. Are there other options where the SST is positive but there is no pregnancy?

    Many thanks in advance.

    The panicked Milo 8|

    Dear Milo,

How do you mean that the blood test showed normal HCG levels? Normal in the sense of normal for pregnancy, or normal in the sense of not pregnant?

I think if the BT is positive, then you are definitely pregnant at the moment :)

There are also other reasons why SST can turn out positive (e.g. also in men), but these are not imaginary false pregnancies, but e.g. due to hormone-producing tumors. Since you were never pregnant before, don't worry!!! It just worked out 🤗

Unfortunately, it's not true that ELSS is ruled out with EZS. We just had a case in the forum. But it's really rare.

It's probably just that you were able to get pregnant or conceive at any time, but your own eggs were simply defective.

I wish you the very best of luck that you get through the critical phase safely 🍀🌼

    Dear Fly,

The HCG value corresponded to the HCG table of a pregnant woman on the day in question. Otherwise, of course, it would be clear that I wasn't pregnant.

I think I just can't believe my luck and am afraid that it will be snatched out of my hands again :/

You're probably absolutely right! I hope that I gain a little more confidence every day :S.

Thank you & I wish you all the best too!

Hello Milo84, your panicked, disbelieving thoughts are completely normal in this situation and fortunately completely unfounded. Of course, a miscarriage can still occur this early, but as long as the HCG is rising nicely, you are and will remain pregnant! Soon you will be able to see a tiny embryo in the ultrasound and then you will also soon be able to see and hear the heartbeat, and then you will certainly slowly be able to believe that happiness has come to you to stay! I wish you all the best!

    Dear Nini,

    You are so right.

I had an appointment with the gynecologist yesterday & everything is fine, you can already see a little heart beating.

It is simply a miracle and I am infinitely grateful <3

I hope it works out for you very soon with the new donor.

I was also in Denmark because the open EZS was so important to us.

All the best & thank you for your reassuring words
