3rd transfer failed ... today TF+8 => white as a sheet 😭😭😭😭

This time we used Filgrastrim. I am KIR AA and HLA C2/C2 .... We are probably not compatible with the donor. 2x no implantation and 1x a miscarriage despite 4AA blastos.

I don't know if I have the strength to carry on 😭💔

Poor Lene, I'm very sorry and I feel for you. Unfortunately, many women here feel the same way as you. I have also had four failed attempts without implantation, but from three different donors, although everything always looked good, and nobody can tell me why. This huge disappointment at the sight of the spotless white test strip... The desire to have children is simply unfair! You're allowed to grieve, you're allowed to be angry at fate, you're allowed to feel powerless and discouraged. At some point, these feelings will subside and then you and your partner can think about whether and how you should continue or whether you should think about a plan B.

But if I've read that correctly, you still have two blastos on ice, right? That means the question of quitting isn't really on the table yet, is it? Or do you know for sure that you are not compatible with the donor, has the donor also been tested for KIR genes? I'm not so familiar with this, as I've always been advised against having my KIR genes tested due to a lack of evidence or because the clinics didn't offer it at all...

Yes, we still have 2 on ice, one of which is not of good quality 😞.

We don't know the donor's HLA profile. The old clinic didn't look at it and I didn't think I would have to deal with the subject of immunology either.

The new clinic and we suspect that the donor is not compatible. Three transfusions, each with 4AA blastos. We have already had a lot of tests done and everything was normal.

I will wait for the discussion with the clinic to see how we proceed. What else we should have examined etc.

He was born at 2380g and 46cm in the 39th week of pregnancy and really worried us towards the end of the pregnancy. With an estimated weight of 2100g, I had to give birth in a level 1 clinic.

Unfortunately, my birth and time in the maternity ward wasn't great, I still have a lot to chew on, especially because the birth of my daughter was absolutely beautiful and I could have given birth in the first planned hospital with the knowledge of today. But nobody knew that the little man would do such a great job. Better safe than sorry....

I'm trying to concentrate now on what a great baby I've made. The love is infinite 🥰😍
