Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Luthien86. I was actually hoping for positive news. Another round means you're having another stimulation, right?
I won't be transferring in February either. I had a microbiome and immunology test done which is more accurate than the one I already had. It shows exactly which bacteria and fungi you have and not just that you have some. This is helpful for the antibiotics that you then use against them, because if you take the wrong ones, then in the worst case the bad bacteria multiply and the good ones become fewer... Well, I had this done by a Canadian doctor. He also suggested antibiotics based on the results. Actually also Intralipid and LIT. But he can't prescribe them to me because Canada is not part of the EU and so I can't fill prescriptions from them here. So I thought I would send the results to my fertility clinic. But they don't see any need for action, despite the test results. They also can't (or don't want to) prescribe me the medication suggested by the doctor. A conversation offered between the Canadian doctor and the doctor at my clinic was not taken up. Where I took the test, in Greece, they advertise on their website that they also issue prescriptions. So I contacted them. But so far they haven't sent me a prescription either. And so my transfer is constantly being postponed. You have to take the medication first and can only do the transfer afterwards. I originally wanted to do it in October. Then waiting for the test results, then waiting for an appointment with the Canadian doctor, then knowing what I need but not getting it. I also wrote to my gynecologist and she hasn't contacted me either. And I feel so alone, somehow so abandoned. The fact that I can't get the Intralipid without an immunologist is ok. And I have already rejected LIT. You don't know for sure whether it will work. And then there's always the thought that this is your last embryo, your last chance of having another child. How am I supposed to get through this okay? Sorry, but I think I just had to have a bit of a puke...

you would have liked it very much. And I'm also a little disillusioned that so many TFs are negative here at the moment. We haven't yet decided to have the last embryo implanted, but if we do and it doesn't work out, I'm worried about falling into the same kind of hole as we did with the treatments in Germany.
I hope that another attempt works out for you. More than one TF may be possible with renewed stimulation

Dear Coco_F, this is a really modest situation. The clinic that is going to do the EZS for you doesn't want to prescribe the medication? Do you have a Kiwu in Germany? It's a shame that they won't even consider using the results. You couldn't really care less, could you?
Conby no, unfortunately I don't have a Kiwu in Germany. My gynecology practice does everything for me. They also support women who want to have children. But I've also written to my gynecologist there and asked for prescriptions, but she hasn't replied.
I also don't know why my clinic doesn't see any need for action based on the results. Somehow I assumed that the same or at least a similar treatment plan would be followed everywhere. I mean, if you have appendicitis, it shouldn't matter whether you are treated here in Germany or in Spain or in Greece or in Canada. It has to come out. And I also had the impression that the specialists had a consensus among themselves, even for KiWu treatments. But obviously not.

There is at least one small ray of hope for me. I managed to get the prescriptions for my antibiotic treatment after all, and guess what: one of the two I have to take hasn't been available for months. Supply bottlenecks... I wrote to lots of pharmacies and then had some luck with one. It arrived today! I am quite relieved. My husband was supposed to take it too, but at least I have it for now. However, as I have to take the first antibiotic for 10 days, take a break for a few days and then take the second for 10 days, the transfer has been postponed again. My next appointment is at the beginning of April.
Have any of you ever had to take antibiotics and how long did you wait before the next transfer?

Hi Coco_F, good news. Hopefully you can go into the next TF with a good feeling that you have done everything.
There is also good news for us, we have been put on the waiting list for a new donor and after a sensational 6 days we got a suitable suggestion 😃 and it gets even better: her new cycle started yesterday and she could already start treatment, we are planning with TF around Easter 🙂
