    Dear all,

I went to the clinic again yesterday!

Our mouse will be 7 months next week and it is clear to me that if we want a second child, we should try as soon as possible. We still have three good blastos on ice....

My husband is still skeptical because he enjoys the routine that is just settling in, but is not averse in principle. 🙃

My KS scar has healed great and there would be nothing wrong with a fresh start right away. 🥰

We are now waiting for my gyn appointment in 4 weeks and then we'll see. I am totally excited 😬

That sounds great, dear Lalelu22 🥰 fingers are crossed 🍀❤️😘

We plan to pick up one of the 2 remaining blastos towards the end of the year when our little man is 1 year old.

My FA has already given the go ahead to continue 6 months after KS, but that is a little early for us😅

I'm glad that you are also there! Lalelu22 and we are also still similar age. Hsb namely but a little scared what the then tell so in the business about me. But the main thing is that we are happy. With my husband it was similar. And after the miscarriage of the first sibling attempt was with only aware of how much he was happy. Without much words and then suffered..... with the next cycle I start a trial cycle and then hopefully transfer cycle. Always had problems in the past to achieve sufficiently high SH.... Love greetings

    Hello all,

Nice that this post was opened.

    We consider namely also.

Our little man is just 4.5 months old. We would evtl in Dec again to Spain. There are still 6 Blastos frozen with us. Too bad that I am already so old, otherwise I would like to have more children. Now I am running out of time with my sibling and I have so many things on my mind. I also had a cesarean section and I have to wait 1 year until the next attempt. That would be in December.

Lalelu22 and Luthien86 Did you get an okay from your doctor so early? My doctor is saying yes I shouldn't push my luck. I had a dream pregnancy and who knows how it will be next time.... She knows about the donation and that the child would therefore probably be genetically healthy. She is more worried about me. And that already makes me think whether I should dare another transfer.

Fliege81 I feel the same way as you: what will people say when I give birth to another child at 50? I will be 49 in June. ;( And at the hospital when I gave birth, one of the doctors also asked me if it was a natural pregnancy X/. I just said yes, because I didn't want EZS to be noted somewhere and I would get problems with the health insurance.

In addition, I had to do several cycles with medication during the first transfer and the mucous membrane built up worse each time. I had a mucosa of 1cm at the first consultation, without medication, and just 7mm at the transfer cycle.... Now I am worried that the mucous membrane will build up well and, above all, whether I will still have my period after breastfeeding. That is no longer so natural at my age.

Dear Rospolino: the doctor at the clinic did a US and said the scar healed great. She does not see any problems. Also my husband is mainly worried about me in case of another pregnancy. Physically I had a great pregnancy, but emotionally it was different because I could hardly deal with the death of my mother.

That's why we are waiting until the beginning of June to talk to the "right" doctor and then think again.

But she had already given me the OK at the time of the follow-up. 🙃

So I am confident that we will start in the summer

Good luck to you guys!!! 😘

Lalelu22 I am also 75 years old and I can understand very well that you do not want to wait too long with a sibling. You don't know if it will work out right away. And if you run out of time because of the 50 year limit, that is also stupid. Although I think some clinics still transfer after that. I myself have 2 children with a gap of not quite 2 years. And yes, having two babies in diapers is exhausting. But I also ran out of time at that time (bad DC because of age) and I am so glad that I decided to do it. I myself will start with the transfer for the third child in July. At least that is the plan.

Fliege81 and Rospolino I feel the same as you with the age, but I like to exchange talk for baby :) somehow there is always talk about something. Because of the mucosal structure, I have only recently seen a lecture by Prof. Dr. Zech, on YouTube. Think the lecture should also be linked here somewhere. (It is a lecture from the forum) In any case, the progesterone recommended as an injection. Because otherwise it is probably not so well absorbed. Maybe that would be an option for you? I don't like injections at all.

Dear Coco_F: one argument of my husband is that we are already tired now.... And he is skeptical about nr2 because of that 😄 but tired stays tired stays tired ... no matter if one or two.

I started back to work last month and we are sharing baby times until September.... But it's pure chaos and I would stay home for a year with nr 2 - unfortunately without parental benefits.

Then it would all have to fit 🥰

In any case, I do not want to imagine the possible negative sides and just look forward to it.

Rospolino  Lalelu22  Coco_F  Luthien86 Then we are still some who think about a sibling. By the way, I just turned 49 and BJ 74, so that's quite a word. My TCM therapist is also concerned about me and my health. So does my husband. But then I just have to trust that everything will go well. I want to be fit for my first sunshine! I hope that I have the strength to stand above possible talk.... I always inject progesterone. But as far as I know, estrogen is responsible for the SH build-up. I don't think you can inject that. My scar has also healed very well. However, according to the clinic, I have to wait 1 year and be weaned for a certain time. But I stopped at about 7 months because of too little milk.....

Yes, we had also shared the parental leave with the first child with parental leave plus and after the first month it was clear to us, the only benefit is that my husband gets less money and works the same amount as before. That's why I went part-time and he went full-time again. Even though that is now the classic role model again. But of course that also depends on the work. You only learn by doing. Every child is different. Some let you sleep through the night right from the start and others wake you up every hour. The energy level is also different. If I could decide freely, I would stay at home for 1.5 years. With the knowledge that I have now, or max. 20 hours work at the beginning.

And it also takes time for the family routine to settle down. Give yourselves time and be lenient with each other and especially with yourself.

May I ask why without parental allowance? When calculating the parental allowance, the months in which you received parental allowance can be excluded. They do not count then. And you get at least the minimum amount.

Oh, I can understand this joy so well. It's a bit like before Christmas when you were still a child. There is a joyful tension in the air, even if you don't know exactly what's coming. I feel the same way right now. And even though I know that many things can go wrong, there is just this positive hope.

I always feel so stupid in the doctor's office. I always think that they all think: "what does she still want a child at her age...". However, the practice is super fine. That's probably just my inner voices talking me into it.

But even in all the pregnancy and baby classes, not a single one is anywhere near my age  Are you all above that? That's really my main problem and only then come the health ones.

I have a follow-up appointment with my doctor in July, so I will ask her about it again. What do I do if she advises me against it? I had a lot of tests done on the first transfer. Would you still do it?

    Quote from Coco_F

Because of the mucous membrane structure, I recently saw a lecture by Prof. Dr. Zech on YouTube.

very dear DAnk for the tip. I will definitely watch the video.

And no one called you stupid or looked at you (this is always subjective)? Midwife, doctors in the hospital, etc.?

However, according to the clinic, wait 1 year and be weaned for a certain time.

Uhhaaahhhh, weaned - a certain time.... I wanted to breastfeed as long as possible and hoped that this time it goes longer than "only" 10 months :see_no_evil_monkey:

Rospolino: one of my aunts and her two ü40 daughters have broken off contact with me ua because of the irresponsibility to still get fade in at my age 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️.

Other than that, I'm lucky to look relatively young, but hey. It's our business! Our daughter is a wish child totally, which I can't say about some of my acquaintances. They belong more in the category of "government motherhood" and I find that extremely sad....

I got my period again after about 10 months, but I had not yet weaned my child, but at least at night there were no more breasts. But that is also different from woman to woman when the period comes again.

I find that quite crass. Did they know it was an EZ donation? Cutting off contact because you choose to live with a child, I just hope you at least didn't have a close relationship. At least I have a few relatives, so I wouldn't even notice if they broke off contact, because I don't have anything to do with them anyway (or don't want to have anything to do with them).

I have already planned my transfer at the beginning of July, booked vacation days, flights etc.. And although my cycle is always regular, I now had a 10 days too short cycle. For the first time and I've really been tracking it for years. So now everything is shifting. I have now written to my coordinator about what I should do best. Do you have any experience with this? There is still time, maybe I should take the pill or something 🤷‍♀️

Rospolino: I haven't gotten my period back yet- the mouse will be 7 months this week and I'm still breastfeeding fully. As I said, the hormones are probably set so low that I can continue breastfeeding without problems. Then in September I have to go back to work almost full time, so I will probably wean after 11 months ....

Coco_F: yes, I also have to take the pill at the beginning of treatment to provoke my period, and then just start with the hormones.

By the way, I think the comparison with "waiting for Christmas" is great! That's exactly how it is!!! 🥰🥰🥰

    Quote from Rospolino

And no one talked down to you or looked at you (that's always subjective)? Midwife, doctors in the hospital, etc.?

Nope, not at all. Someone should have done that...🤣😜💣💥

I don't breastfeed (didn't work out, unfortunately) and had my period at 9 weeks, regularly since.

    Hi,

When discussing a second child by EZS, I think the firstborn child should also be considered.

child should be considered. If there is a clarification, it is really nicer for the children if there is a sibling with the same history. In our case the two boys (13 and 16) have a very close relationship and I think that the common history plays a role there.

AnjaG69 nice that you share your experience😘.

Are the two of them genetic full siblings?

I would very much like that, but I would probably also try again with a new donor if it doesn't work out with the remaining blastos.

The donor from the first EZS is definitely no longer available.
